THE MISSION

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Credit Risk Decision Analyst to join us in shaping our portfolio’s success. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact business growth and stability by developing and refining strategies that reduce risk while enabling new opportunities. Your work will make a visible difference, with the results of your efforts reflected in our overall business performance.

You will:

  • Monitor and report on the loss performance of Scalapay's portfolio.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce losses while driving business growth.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of effective loss mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate on new product launches, ensuring robust loss management practices are in place.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
  • Analytical mindset, with an ability to identify patterns, discrepancies, and trends using large datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively present findings and collaborate with stakeholders across different countries.
  • Willingness to collaborate with different teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Some work experience in Data Analytics or Risk management (e.g. internship)

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis is an advantage.
