Patch Management & Vulnerability Specialist
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage patch management strategies for all operating systems and applications across the organization
Coordinate and deploy security updates and patches to ensure systems are protected against known vulnerabilities
Monitor patch release cycles and proactively assess applicability and risk to organizational assets
Schedule and automate patch deployments to minimize user disruption and maximize coverage
Collaborate with the business units to coordinate patching windows and address unique requirements
Maintain a feedback loop with end-users to address concerns and minimize disruptions
Ensure all devices are compliant with security policies, standards, and regulations
Create and maintain detailed documentation for patch management processes, vulnerability assessments, and security configurations
Develop, refine, and implement troubleshooting procedures
Manage escalations and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
Contribute to the self-service knowledgebase, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation
Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Proven experience in patch management, system imaging, and application deployment in enterprise environments
Proficiency with endpoint management tools (e.g. Syxsense, Intune, or equivalent), desktop and server operating systems, Entra, and ticketing systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with IT security standards and best practices
Experience in scripting or automation using PowerShell, or similar tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Experience working in regulated environments is a plus
