NOC Manager
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic NOC Manager to lead our Network Operations Center team in Sofia. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our network infrastructure and operations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in network operations, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to incident management and performance optimization.
Your Role:
- Lead and manage the NOC team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement NOC policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee network monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to issues promptly.
- Manage incident response processes and ensure timely resolution of network incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor network performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless network operations.
- Recommend and implement network upgrades and improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the NOC team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network operations or network management roles.
- Proven experience with network infrastructure technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, security protocols).
- Strong understanding of network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Experience managing IT incidents and leading technical teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
