Sr Generalist - Human Resources

Position Overview

Reporting to the HR Director in Bulgaria, the primary responsibility of the Sr Generalist – Human Resources is to oversee all Sands Digital Services (SDS) daily functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and onboarding new employees, assisting and advising employees on all HR reacted matters, processing documents, benefits, and leave, and developing and enforcing company policies and practices.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with Company and departmental policies, practices, and procedures. All Sands Digital Services Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end employment lifecycle process from onboarding to offboarding

  • Establish and advise on local compliance and HR Policies & Processes

  • Participates in the relocation and integration process of foreign team-members

  • Supports the process of distribution of the benefits in the company

  • Managing internal HR personnel documentation, both electronic and paper form

  • Participating in the optimization of HR processes and policies

  • Update the internal HR database

  • Being up to date with all changes in employment law conditions & regulations

  • Partnering with Business stakeholders in talent management

  • Coordinates and reports the gathered feedback from the exit interviews

  • Dealing with the administration & communicating with local vendors and suppliers

  • Maintaining data accuracy in the various systems and reporting tools

  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics, such as leaves and

  • compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

  • Develop HR reports and presentations.

  • Safety is an essential function of this job.

  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5 + years of experience working within HR, Compensation & Benefits, or Payroll

  • Experience in hands-on people management and development

  • An analytical mindset with a desire to fulfil tasks in a detail-oriented way

  • Strong knowledge of employment/labour laws

  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a busy team

  • Positive and analytical thinking

  • Effective time management, prioritization, multi-tasking

  • Ability to ask for assistance and share knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
