Payroll Specialist
Your Role:
- Tax and Insurance Management: Verify due taxes and insurance for both employees and employers.
- Salary Preparation: Gather and review monthly data for salary calculations, including schedules, benefits, new joiners, terminations, and incentives.
- Absence Verification: Confirm all types of absences and supporting documentation.
- Payroll Checks: Review monthly payroll and recapitulation.
- Declaration Management: Handle monthly declarations (forms 1 and 6), identify discrepancies, and make necessary corrections.
- Service Calculation: Calculate length of service and base salary.
- Schedule Management: Monitor monthly schedules, shifts, PTO, and absences; address employee salary/payslip queries.
- Document Preparation: Prepare employment notes, kindergarten application notes, and other official documents upon request.
- Reporting: Generate reports and references related to employee compensation and expenses.
- Sick Leave Management: Check registered sick leaves in the system.
- Labor Book Completion: Complete labor books accurately.
- State Communication: Liaise with state institutions such as the National Revenue Agency and National Insurance Institute.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Good level of English- both written and spoken
- Excel experience is preferred – beginner/intermediate level
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience
What would be considered as an advantage:
- Workday and/or UKG experience
- Accounting qualification/ experience
- Payroll Training, either country specific or global
