Multi Skilled Broadcast Operator

Position Overview

Sands Digital Services (SDS) is seeking proactive and technically adaptable Multiskilled Broadcast Operators to support live game show operations in our high-performance IP-based broadcast studio in Sofia.

Operators will monitor, operate, and troubleshoot broadcast systems in real-time using NDI, vMix, Dante, and TAG Video Systems. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, the ability to follow precise SOPs, and strong coordination with technical teams during live broadcast operations. You will play a key role in maintaining signal integrity, broadcast compliance, and seamless table show delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor live video/audio feeds across TAG multiviewers, ensuring quality and synchronization
• Execute daily show startup, shutdown, and shift handover routines as per documented SOPs
• Operate vMix interface for camera switching, overlays, stream routing, and signal status
• Assist with Dante audio signal checks, microphone testing, and fallback signal routing
• Respond to real-time faults (stream drops, signal loss, sync issues) and escalate as needed
• Verify visual overlays, dealer HUD accuracy, and camera framing alignment
• Document issues, shift logs, and performance notes into ticketing/reporting tools
• Follow standard compliance checklists for each game/table
• Support the Senior Broadcast Technician with pre-launch testing and emergency scenarios
• Contribute to continuous process improvement via structured feedback

Minimum Requirements

• 1–2 years experience in live broadcast, AV control rooms, or streaming environments
• Familiarity with vMix, NDI Tools, or comparable IP video platforms
• Understanding of basic audio/NDI video signal flow and Dante routing tools
• Comfortable working in high-speed production settings and rotating shifts
• Technically curious with strong attention to visual/audio detail
• Able to follow structured workflows and escalate issues professionally
• Working knowledge of English for interpreting SOPs, software, and team communication

   

Key Competencies

• Experience in online casino, esports, or game show production
• Familiarity with TAG Video Systems, VMix,, FFmpeg, or VM-based stream processing
• Basic troubleshooting of camera feeds, overlays, and sync delay
• Experience in audio/video QA or technical monitoring centers
