- Develop detailed procedural documentation and training materials for the new daily process.
- Operationalisation & Execution:
- Implement the newly designed daily reconciliation process, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and fully supported by source data.
- Investigate and resolve all reconciling items in a timely manner, escalating material discrepancies immediately.
- Work with the IT/Data teams to identify and secure reliable daily data feeds necessary for the reconciliations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise with Core Finance and Operations teams to understand transactional flows and integrate reconciliation requirements into upstream processes.
- Provide regular updates on project status and key risks to senior management.
- System & Tool Optimisation:
- Identify and implement tools (e.g., Excel models, internal systems, Power BI reports) to automate or semi-automate aspects of the daily reconciliation.
About you:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience in a similar accounting or finance role, with significant focus on balance sheet reconciliation.

- Demonstrable expertise in advanced Excel/Google (e.g., Pivot Tables, complex formulas, Power Query) and experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in data manipulation and variance analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to document processes and manage stakeholders.
