IT and Operations Lead

• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply hands-on, solving problems directly, and building scalable IT practices from the ground up without heavy layers of management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own IT strategy and operations across global offices, while remaining hands-on in execution to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
• Actively manage and support infrastructure across Mac environments, SaaS platforms, and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Own and directly manage cloud governance practices, including billing oversight, cost management, resource tagging standards, and execution of platform upgrades.
• Hands-on ownership of endpoint and device security, including implementation and day-to-day management of tools such as Jamf, Sophos Endpoint, and similar platforms.
• Drive and execute processes around licensing, asset management, hardware provisioning, onboarding, and exit management — building for scale, not just the current headcount.
• Establish and implement standards for networking, hardware setup, and workplace IT practices across all locations.
• Provide practical, tool-driven security oversight for systems, data, and global collaboration.
• Partner with leadership to support business growth while actively resolving IT issues and maintaining operational reliability.
• Travel domestically as needed to align and implement IT practices across locations.
• Manage vendors and partners for asset purchase, leasing, sourcing, and decommissioning.

Ideal Candidate

• ~8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and security, with exposure to distributed teams.
• Demonstrable experience working within a scaling organisation — you have built or significantly evolved IT infrastructure, processes, and security practices as a business has grown, and you understand the difference between what works at 50 people and what needs to change at 200.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Mac-based environments, SaaS tools, and enterprise cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Proven hands-on experience with endpoint management and security tools such as Jamf, Sophos Endpoint, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute IT processes, policies, and governance structures that scale — not just document them, but own them end to end.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud governance, including billing management, cost control, resource tagging, and upgrade execution.
• Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor in a flat structure, with full ownership of IT operations and no existing team to inherit.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with leadership and teams across geographies.
• Based in Bangalore or Pune; fully on-site.
