Frontend Developer

Prere​nder is a dynamic rendering SaaS software, enabling seamless crawling by search engines while preserving user experience. Trusted by 65K companies worldwide, our platform serves 2.7 billion unique pages to web crawlers, driving SEO enhancements for major industry players.

Profile Overview

We’re looking for a Middle Frontend Developer to join our growing Prerender team. You will work closely with our Senior Frontend Engineer, Backend Engineers, QA, Product, and Design to deliver high-quality features that improve user experience and accelerate our roadmap.

Together we are going to experiment with cutting edge technologies while scaling them to thousands of servers. Right now our product renders 2.7 billion unique pages for thousands of customers, and manages hundreds of millions requests everyday. You will be joining us in a journey where we are going to implement programmatic post processing, scaling services to process this enormous data flow.

Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:

• Deliver smaller changes and improvements to existing functionality under guidance within your first month.
• Take ownership of medium-sized features within 2–3 months, working semi-independently with Product and Backend teams to ensure delivery.
• Become fully comfortable with the codebase and development processes within 6 months, contributing features independently and participating actively in code reviews and architecture discussions.
  
  

Your responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing enhancements and improvements to the existing website. Fix bugs, address performance issues, and help keep the product stable, reliable and user-friendly.
• Feature Development: Take an active role in the full feature development cycle — from early discussions on designs and specifications with the product team, through implementation and integration, to testing on staging and supporting releases in production. Collaborate with senior team members for guidance when needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs effectively, partner with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing and high-quality releases, and actively contribute to technical discussions within the team.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable TypeScript and JavaScript code. Participate in code reviews and follow modern development best practices.
• Continuous Learning: Contribute ideas for improving the product and processes, and stay curious about new tools and technologies.

What You bring to the table

• 2–4 years of professional experience with JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience working with React in production.
• 1+ year of production experience with TypeScript.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Solid understanding of REST API integration.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first setup with clear communication.
• Commitment to delivering clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good attention to UX when implementing features and UI details.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
• Familiarity with frontend testing tools and practices (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
