About Rubix

At Rubix, we design and deliver end-to-end AI data center infrastructure — from site origination and development through to long-term operations. We partner with customers to scale AI with speed, efficiency, and sustainability, backed by secured land, power access, and accelerated delivery models.

What Impact You Will Have

As Manager of EHS for EMEA, you will help Rubix grow safely, responsibly, and consistently across the region. You’ll work closely with development, construction, operations, and contractor teams to reduce risk, strengthen site practices, and build a proactive safety culture as we scale.

What You’ll Do

Lead practical EHS execution

  • Implement EHS programs, policies, and procedures across EMEA data center development and operations activity.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action tracking across active projects.
  • Support safe execution of high-risk activities, including electrical work, lifting operations, working at height, confined spaces, and permit-to-work processes.

Keep sites compliant and prepared

  • Monitor applicable EHS regulations and ensure site practices meet local requirements and Rubix standards.
  • Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, lessons learned, and corrective action plans.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, drills, training records, and EHS documentation.

Strengthen safety capability

  • Partner with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure consistent EHS expectations and accountability.
  • Deliver practical EHS guidance, onboarding, toolbox talks, and safety communications for project teams.
  • Track EHS metrics and provide clear reporting to leadership on risks, trends, and improvement actions.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of EHS experience in construction, data centers, utilities, energy, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and contractor safety reviews.
  • Working knowledge of EMEA EHS regulations and common management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Experience supporting high-risk work activities, including electrical safety, LOTO, lifting operations, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Ability to travel across EMEA as needed.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Direct experience supporting data center construction or operations.
  • Experience with hyper scaler deployments in EMEA
  • Regional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO auditor qualification, or equivalent local EHS credential.
  • Experience building EHS programs in a fast-growth or multi-country environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence contractors, field teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative safety culture by alignment of cross functional teams and site operation to successfully achieve unified EHS objectives.
  • Comfort balancing hands-on site engagement with program development and reporting.
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken), bilingual (Spanish) would be an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Exposure to high-impact investment decisions in a rapidly growing AI infrastructure platform
  • Opportunity to work across the full asset lifecycle—from origination through operations
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with strong growth potential
