About The Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving the foundational platforms that power our products and engineering teams. You will own critical components of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD tooling, deployment automation, and observability stack. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the systems that our teams depend on every day.In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, system administrators, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our platform is secure, resilient, and friction-free. You will help shape best practices, mentor team members, and drive initiatives that elevate our engineering productivity and operational excellence.

This is an ideal position for an experienced Platform Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving developer experience, and enabling teams to build and ship software with confidence.

The following skills will be crucial: 

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based platforms that support scalable and secure application deployment.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to improve reliability and reduce lead times.
  • Enhance infrastructure observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system health and incident readiness.
  • Streamline operations by automating repetitive tasks and improving internal tooling.
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand their needs, remove friction, and provide efficient platform capabilities.
  • Influence architectural decisions related to infrastructure, deployment, and reliability.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of production environments through robust engineering practices.
  • Lead technical initiatives, share best practices, and mentor peers to elevate overall platform maturity.

Desired Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps Engineer or similar
  • Significant experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for GCP)
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
  • Ability to design and write Helm charts
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
  • Experience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g.: ArgoCD)
  • Familiarity with Job scheduling and executing tools (e.g.: Argo Workflows)
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Strong knowledge of Docker for containerization
  • Advanced skills in Python
  • A strong commitment to best practices and ensuring the high security of designed solutions

Nice-to-have: 

  • Proven ability to implement Internal Developer Portals that improve developer experience by consolidating service information, enabling self-service operations, and creating standardized delivery workflows.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and error-tracking tools like Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Understanding of event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub
