The Platform Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing SSP integrations by blending technical expertise, business insight, and analytical thinking. The role focuses on managing SSP partnerships and supporting partner needs, while also advancing the technical aspects of RTB House SSP integrations to improve performance and reliability. It requires close collaboration with internal teams including, Product, Engineering, Ad Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure business needs are met. This is an ideal role for someone with programmatic experience, commercial acumen, technical curiosity, and strong analytical instincts.

You Will: 

  • SSP Integrations & Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot SSP integrations, resolve technical issues, and analyze data to identify trends or anomalies. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure platform stability and performance. Use querying tools (E.g. SQL) to dig into log-level data and support operational improvements.
  • Partner Relationship Management & Support: Manage communication with SSP partners, respond to operational requests, and prepare insights for partner reviews. Maintain clear documentation and contribute to smooth, informed collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Inventory Growth & Supply Quality: Support evaluation and onboarding of new partners. Assess inventory quality and uniqueness, monitor for duplication, and maintain accurate records of supply configurations and integrations.
  • Compliance & Brand Safety: Ensure partner adherence to privacy regulations and internal brand safety standards. Monitor restricted verticals and support enforcement in collaboration with legal and policy teams.
  • Reporting & Financial Accuracy: Assist with invoice validation, revenue reconciliation, and investigation of billing discrepancies using data analysis and cross-functional coordination.

Desired Experience: 

  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech operations, or SSP/DSP partnerships, with a track record of managing external relationships that span both technical and commercial domains
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; experience with SQL or similar querying tools (proficiency a strong plus)
  • Solid understanding of programmatic infrastructure, including SSPs, Prebid, auction mechanics, and familiarity with oRTB bid request/response formats
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally across technical, business, and partner-facing teams
  • Self-starter comfortable operating in a remote environment and collaborating with distributed teams

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000 in base pay, and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined on a case by case basis based on experience, skills, training, certifications, education, etc., and will be informed by market data.
