About the Team

Your Tasks

  • Develop and refine models to estimate the performance of rocket engines and subsystems.
  • Validate and correct models using test data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Create procedures and develop software tools to streamline the pipeline from engine test to analysis and model verification.
  • Provide support to the propulsion team in engine test analysis, helping to interpret and extract insights from test data.
  • Take ownership of the rocket engine subsystems, ensuring their continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Generate comprehensive technical reports detailing modeling methodologies, analysis results, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including propulsion engineers and data scientists, to enhance the overall understanding of engine performance and optimize design decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in numerical modeling, data analysis techniques, and machine learning relevant to propulsion systems.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline. PhD on related disciplines is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in space propulsion systems, focusing on engine modeling or test data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of compressible and incompressible flow, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, mechanics, and pressurized components.
  • Excellent knowledge of propulsion-related physics and their application in modeling and analysis.
  • Proficiency in engineering-related programming languages, such as Python, for numerical modeling and data analysis tasks.
  • Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written, as all day-to-day activities are performed in English.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a structured approach.
