About the role: 

We are looking for an Intelligent Automation UiPath Tech Lead who is ready to step in and make an immediate impact. Your first major initiative is leading the end-to-end migration of our complex enterprise workflows from Blue Prism to UiPath. We need an expert to drive this transition and ensure it is entirely seamless. 

Beyond that, you will own the technical execution of our broader automation strategy and lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of the Blue Prism to UiPath migration program, ensuring all legacy processes are meticulously mapped, radically refactored, and successfully deployed into the new production environment. 

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a cross-functional pod of automation engineers and business analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence. 

• Ensure successful refactoring, testing, and deployment of all targeted legacy processes, owning the delivery pipeline within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. 

• Conduct rigorous code reviews and enforce robust CI/CD pipelines, establishing coding standards and automated testing frameworks (Unit, Integrated, UAT) that guarantee delivery excellence and mitigate deployment risks. 

• Act as the primary technical authority and trusted advisor, aligning business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams on migration milestones and technical risks. 

• Oversee post-deployment hypercare and incident management, rapidly resolving high-level technical escalations, optimizing performance bottlenecks, and ensuring a seamless transition to managed services support teams. 

 

Must Have Qualifications: 

• 8+ years of experience in Intelligent Automation software engineering, with hands-on architectural expertise in UiPath, Blue Prism is a strong plus. 

• Proven track record operating as a Technical Lead, successfully managing, staffing, and mentoring engineering teams 

• Strong command of advanced software engineering principles and CI/CD operations, including proficiency in SQL, Git version control, and core programming languages required to build custom automation components. 

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the proven ability to conduct technical workshops, elicit granular business requirements, and negotiate complex architectural decisions with non-technical executives. 

Strong Plus 

• Hands-on architectural expertise in Blue Prism. 

• Certifications (add here such as UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification) 

• Experience integrating document understanding tools into RPA workflows. 

• Classical programming and scripting experience with IT solutions, preferably with .NET, C#, VBA, or Java
