As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will start establishing yourself in Roboyo Consulting or technology services. You will be responsible for leading project workstreams and managing the delivery of our solutions for our clients.

In this role, you already have an understanding of your specific area of focus, and you are able to apply that knowledge to develop innovative solutions that address complex business problems. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle.

You will be able to lead projects independently or work as part of a team on larger programs. In addition, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and being the primary point of contact for all project-related activities. You should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and be able to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders, including project teams, subject-matter experts, and business users. You should also have a solid understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies, and be able to provide thought leadership to clients and internal teams.

Automation Engineers are focused on developing intelligent Automation solutions, e.g., RPA, IDP, Test Automation, BPM (especially workflow and/or process orchestration), and Conv. AI. Experience in software development (Java, Python, as well as VB.NET)

General: Responsibilities and tasks for this role

  • Lead project workstreams, managing the project scope, budget, and timeline
  • Analyze data and information, and make recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with other members of the automation team to deliver solutions that address client needs
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, and continuously improve consulting service offerings
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor to clients

Must-have qualifications & competencies

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in automation (UiPath)
  • Strong track record of project management and data analysis
  • Knowledgeable in at least one area of consulting, such as strategy, transformation, digitization, or technology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Nice to have qualifications & competencies

  • UiPath RPA Developer Certification
  • Exposure to consulting environments or client-facing roles
  • Python coding skills or willingness to grow technical capabilities
  • Interest in upskilling in related technologies such as process mining (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining), low-code platforms (e.g., Power Apps), conversational AI (e.g., Cognigy, Druid), or test automation (UiPath Test Suite)
  • Experience in Automation Anywhere, Power Automate
