Title: Business Development Representative

Location: UK (Remote)

As a BDR at Roboyo, you will play a key role in all of our go-to-market and pipeline-generating activities. We are looking for a hungry, driven and business-focused BDR to help us drive sales in one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving industries on the planet, AI. 

We work with the world’s leading AI technologies — including OpenAI, Microsoft, UiPath, Google, AWS and more — to build high-impact, value-driven solutions that truly make a difference for our clients. From developing a tailored AI strategy to implementing and operating scalable solutions, we deliver end-to-end support that drives real business transformation. 

In this role, you’ll focus on winning new clients and expanding our footprint in key industries. At the same time, you’ll manage and grow existing accounts (approx. 50% baseline business), ensuring long-term success and strong customer relationships.

What You Will Own:

  • Outbound prospecting / Lead generation / Opportunity qualification through multi-channel outreach, including: Cold Calls, LinkedIn and Email
  • Developing client contact strategies and conducting business development calls
  • Managing leads, contacts, accounts and deals proactively with those responsible to ensure follow-ups, calls and meetings are executed as planned
  • Maintaining high standards across the CRM platform
  • Supporting with Tenders
  • Presenting solutions to prospective customers, engaging prospects to determine customer needs and demonstrating how our solutions can meet those goals
  • Facilitating events such as workshops or virtual trainings to drive awareness/buzz
  • Supporting with campaigns, event strategies, and execution
  • Building relationships with key partners
  • Support deal pricing and margin calculations
  • Support sales planning for various periods, regions and products/services
  • Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals
  • Share best practices and opportunities from your experience across pursuits
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activities, regulatory impacts and competitors

Qualifications

Successful candidate profile:

  • Previous experience pitching to senior executives is a plus
  • Excellent work rate and eagerness to learn
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous outbound sales experience
  • Good time management and ability to manage multiple important tasks and deliver within specified timeframes
  • Experience selling or prospecting for technology platforms and services is a plus
  • Success in uncovering new opportunities with persistent sales outreach via creative social selling and the use of prospecting tools
  • Enthusiasm for topics such as automation, digitization or artificial intelligence
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as entrepreneurial thinking
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Passionate about helping clients
