The Senior Strategic Growth Manager is a high‑impact, client‑facing commercial role responsible for hunting and securing new enterprise clients across NSW and Australia. You will be the spearhead of our regional expansion, identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, influencing stakeholders, and leading complex deals from first conversation to close.
You will lead the strategy, commercial pathways, and execution required to scale the organisation’s low‑code capability and Appian‑driven transformation agenda. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, digital transformation, partner enablement, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation’s low‑code/Appian growth strategy, identifying high‑value opportunities and analysing market and competitive trends.
- Proactively identify, target, and establish new relationships with enterprise and mid‑market clients, building a sustainable new‑business pipeline.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client needs and translate them into tailored automation and AI solutions.
- Develop compelling value propositions, proposals, commercial offers, and go‑to‑market assets in partnership with sales, marketing, delivery, and product teams.
- Shape and support priority customer opportunities through deal structuring, pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Drive cross‑functional initiatives to scale low‑code capability, including investment cases, ROI modelling, and operationalisation with delivery and engineering teams.
- Manage strategic relationships with Appian and other low‑code partners to enable co‑selling, co‑marketing, and joint solution development, while influencing partner roadmaps.
- Maintain visibility of the low‑code and new‑business pipeline, track success metrics, and support portfolio prioritisation and optimisation.
- Provide market insights, competitor intelligence, and demand signals to guide strategic planning.
- Represent the organisation at industry events and position the company as a trusted advisor and thought leader in intelligent automation and digital transformation.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, drive alignment across business units, and mentor junior team members to uplift capability.
Skills & Experience

7–10+ years of experience in business development, strategy, digital transformation, or similar roles.

Strong understanding of low‑code platforms, ideally with hands‑on exposure to Appian (certifications preferable but not essential).

Proven experience developing and executing growth strategies for digital or technology‑led offerings.

Experience working with sales, delivery, and technical teams in a SaaS or services environment.

Strong business case development and financial modelling capability.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Desirable

Experience in automation, workflow, or hyperautomation ecosystems.

Experience engaging with vendor partners (e.g., Appian, Microsoft, Pega, ServiceNow, Nintex).

Understanding of enterprise architecture, digital process automation, and integration tooling.

Experience in large or regulated industries (banking, insurance, government, health, utilities).
