The Opportunity

We are expanding our Appian practice in Australia and are looking for Appian Engineers across junior to senior levels. Whether you are an experienced Appian developer ready to grow into a consulting role, or a seasoned Appian expert leading enterprise-scale solutions, we would love to hear from you!

As an Appian engineer at Roboyo, you will design, build, and deliver scalable solutions for enterprise clients. You will work closely with clients and global delivery teams to translate business requirements into robust digital solutions, leveraging low-code, intelligent automation, and emerging Agentic AI capabilities.

Junior Appian Engineer

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Appian development experience
• Associate Developer (minimum) or Senior Developer (ideally) certification
• Strong interest in low-code, AI, and intelligent automation platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Appian applications, including interfaces, process models, data models, and integrations
• Support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live support
• Collaborate with senior consultants and architects to design scalable and maintainable solutions
• Assist in analysing business processes and identifying automation opportunities
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities
• Learn and apply emerging technologies, including Agentic AI tools within automation solutions
• Continuously build domain knowledge through training and certifications

Lead Appian Engineer

Experience & Qualifications

• 6+ years of Appian development and consulting experience
• Lead Developer certification
• Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale low-code solutions
• Strong consulting background with excellent stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Appian solutions for enterprise clients
• Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical designs and implementation plans
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on Appian, Agentic AI and digital transformation strategies
• Mentor and coach junior developers
• Drive innovation by incorporating Agentic AI tools, and intelligent automation capabilities into Appian solutions
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and client presentations
• Ensure high-quality delivery, governance, and adherence to Roboyo and Appian standards

What we’re looking for (All Levels)

• Strong knowledge of the Appian platform and low-code development principles
• Experience integrating Appian with enterprise systems and APIs
• Solid understanding of business processes and automation concepts
• Excellent communication skills and a consulting mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in global, cross-functional teams
• Must be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide
