Outline
The Senior Engineer is responsible for handling complex technical issues, supporting and mentoring less senior team members, and upholding the quality of service object implementations. Senior Engineers act as both expert troubleshooters and hands-on developers, bridging the gap between technical execution and architectural guidance. They ensure the continued performance and reliability of service objects under care.
Within this role your responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Assess the technical feasibility of fixes to business enhancement requests.
- Be the primary point of contact for the client and the delivery team.
- Evaluate and develop solutions for scalability, performance, and efficiency.
- Design and implement solutions together with your team and provide demonstrations to clients.
- Independently design solutions by applying architectural best practices, including principles, models, patterns, and perspectives.
- Experience in areas such as Machine learning, Action center, Integration service, Automation hub, Maestro, Document understanding would be highly advantageous.
- Establish and implement Service Level Agreements (SLA) to optimise team delivery and measure service delivery.
- Liaise with client technical and business teams as needed to ensure an effective solution is implemented.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop other employees on application and implementation methodologies.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in yourself and the team in order to aid the continual improvement of our delivery services.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as needed.
- Continual improvement of service to our clients ensuring the required impact is met.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in agile and ITIL-based environments.
- Experience with other automation technologies (RPA, IDP, Conversational AI, etc.) is of great advantage.
Requirements
Must have
- At least 3 years of hand’s on application development in the UiPath and application-level development and support activities with demonstrable proven track record.
- Proven experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining attended and unattended bots.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for L3-level issue resolution.
- Experience integrating UiPath with APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
- Proficiency in .NET (VB.NET or C#), SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- UiPath Certified Automation Developer Professional is required.
- Strong documentation habits and process discipline.
- Good communication skills and social competence for strong customer relationships
- Experience with software version control systems.
Nice to have
- Automation Developer Professional Credential is a big plus
- ITIL certification or experience in service management would be a bonus.
- Familiarity with infrastructure components like virtual machines, Active Directory, and credential vaults.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- UiPath Solution Architect or Automation Business Analyst certifications are a plus.
- Have or meet UK Enhanced Security checks to support clients of national importance.
