Senior Application Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer with a focus on backend development using Azure and Python. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and delivers robust, scalable solutions. The role is based in Barcelona and on client site 3-4 days a week. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Azure cloud technologies.
• Build scalable, secure, and performant applications using Python and cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Own your work from design to deployment and ongoing support.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience in backend development with:
  • Azure Functions
  • Cosmos DB
  • Python
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Logic Apps and Azure Monitor is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.

Nice-to-Have

• Basic or working knowledge of frontend development using JavaScript and Azure Web Apps.
• Ability to contribute to frontend aspects of a project if needed.
