Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Applications Engineering with a focus on LowCode/NoCode and Business Orchestration & Automation Technologies (BOAT) platforms to drive business development efforts and lead a team of consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client engagements, spearheading business development initiatives, and delivering innovative solutions that align with client needs.
You will work closely with senior leadership to develop strategies that support growth, foster client satisfaction, and promote the adoption of cutting-edge LowCode/NoCode & BOAT platforms such as Appian, Microsoft Power Platform Mendix, and others. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving technology-based solutions and a proven ability to manage client relationships, lead projects, and support team development.
Role Specific
- As a Senior Manager in Application Engineering, you will:
- Lead a team of consultants to deliver tailored LowCode/NoCode solutions.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and post-delivery support.
- Develop strategic relationships with senior-level clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Act as a thought leader by staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in Intelligent Automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Your responsibilities will also include ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met while providing mentorship and guidance to your team.
Business Development Responsibilities & Tasks
- Partner with the sales team to create and execute effective sales strategies.
- Lead proposal development and respond to client RFPs, ensuring alignment with their needs.
- Actively participate in client meetings and presentations to position the company as a leader in LowCode/NoCode & BOAT solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Work with our key partners to generate new business opportunities

- Manage and develop a team of consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with organizational goals.
- Maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay informed on industry advancements and ensure the team delivers forward-thinking solutions.
Must-have qualifications & competencies
- At least 8 years of experience in Automation with a focus on LowCode/NoCode platforms such as Appian, Microsoft, Mendix, Outsystems or similar.
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and leading complex projects.
- Demonstrated success in business development: Sales & Growth (Hunting & Farming)
- Proficiency in one or more areas such as strategy, operations, technology, or finance.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain trusted client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
