Associate Product Manager

Role Overview

We’re hiring an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our growing product team. As an APM, you’ll help shape the systems that power RISA’s platform — from healthcare workflows and ML-powered automations to partner-facing dashboards and internal tooling.

This is a foundational role for someone eager to learn product hands-on. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts, and be involved in everything from discovery to launch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product leads to define specs and scope for new features
• Research user needs, workflows, and pain points through interviews, shadowing, and data analysis
• Write clear documentation (PRDs, user stories, product notes) to support development
• Track implementation progress and help manage timelines and trade-offs
• Assist in QA, UAT, and go-to-market activities to ensure product quality and adoption
• Drive internal feedback loops across teams (support, operations, engineering) to surface insights
• Learn fast, ask questions, and take initiative — you’ll have ownership from day one

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in product, operations, design, or engineering (internships welcome)
• Excellent communication and writing skills — you can make complexity understandable
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Curiosity about AI/ML, healthcare systems, or regulated infrastructure
• Bonus: Familiarity with Figma, SQL, Jira, or tools like Notion and Slack
• Bonus: Prior experience in a startup, fellowship program, or high-ownership internship
