Executive Assistant to the CTO (f/m/x), Remote in Copenhagen, SaaS/Greentech
You’re a Executive assistant who prides themselves on automating as much as possible. You’re super organized (Which is important as Peter our CTO is too) and if you are a tech geek (Like Peter) you would be perfect in this position. Initially the focus will be on organization and freeing Peter up to deal with the most important matters as a technical co-founder, but in time we’d expect you to become an extension of Peter and take on more technical tasks and projects.
What you will do
You will work directly with Peter Merkert, CTO & Co-Founder of Retraced, providing high-level operational and administrative support. You will play a key role in enabling him to focus on driving the company’s vision and growth. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, tech-savvy, and eager to make an exponential impact by supporting a visionary leader.
You will
- Prepare Peter’s daily schedule, manage his to-do list, and align priorities with company goals.
- Organize meetings, including preparing clear agendas and compiling supporting materials like Miro boards.
- Turn brief notes and ideas into actionable tasks, completing or preparing them for review.
- Draft professional email replies and correspondence on Peter’s behalf.
- Organize email threads and notes into structured, actionable pages in Notion.
- Plan travel, book flights, accommodations, and transport, and prepare detailed itineraries.
- Update project pages in Notion with clear actions, deadlines, and statuses.
- Use tools like n8n to automate repetitive workflows, connect APIs, and streamline processes.
- Research and prepare information for critical decision-making.
- Coordinate specific cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and milestones.
- Identify and propose process improvements, leveraging AI-driven solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Who you are
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume tasks and priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting and organizing materials.
- Proficiency with tools like Notion, Miro, Microsoft Outlook, and automation platforms (e.g., n8n).
- Basic understanding of APIs and JavaScript for implementing and troubleshooting automations.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a drive to optimize workflows.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
- Preferred: Experience in startups, consultancies, or high-growth environments, with an interest in sustainability and technology.
