About this role:

Renaissance Global are recruiting for an International Education Advisor for our China and North Asia business to join our growing team.  

The International Education Advisor will lead contact with key individuals within centrally purchasing International School Groups, as well as SLT, assessment, and data leads at individual schools and head offices where applicable. Through these relationships we provide wide-ranging and in-depth support to teaching and learning in their schools.  

Our aim is to add value to the way in which the schools use the data from our assessments and instructional practices tools, ultimately providing teachers with meaningful insights with which they can enhance pupil progress. You will work with educators in various roles by showing how our products can support improvements in teaching and learning throughout their schools and how these plans can be implemented. The role is home based with some domestic and international travel where and when required. 

International Education Advisor Job Responsibilities: 

  • When looking at the responsibilities can be broken down into the following areas:Manage the relationship with the International Schools Groups lead and assessment leads in their schools. Agree what they are looking to achieve by using our products and work closely with them to ensure that their expectations are met. 
  • Help new customers to use the Renaissance Global platforms, assessments, and practice products to ensure they have a positive experience from the start of their partnership with Renaissance Global. 
  • Ensure customers understand the value of the data and reports they receive from the products to increase the chance of renewal. 
  • Achievement of agreed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators 
  • Leverage your existing relationships with key contacts to promote and offer our range of products. 
  • Arrange training sessions both via our training team and personally to ensure customers understand fully the Renaissance Global solution. 
  • Analyse and aggregate school group level data when required and make recommendations based on the findings; lead SLT meetings and presentations to communicate this.  
  • Represent and present Renaissance Global's assessments and instructional tools with contextual educational knowledge to all customers. 
  • Work closely with the field sales team and marketing team to help support pre and post sales to facilitate quota achievement. Work collaboratively with them and colleagues in our other offices, to ensure customers receive outstanding support. 
  • Record ongoing contact with schools and other relevant information on internal systems. 
  • Develop positive work relationships with the marketing team to deliver insightful Renaissance Global content through social media channels, online webinars, and case studies. 
  • Build a strong, in-depth knowledge of products to enable you to provide confident support to customers where required and up-sell where appropriate. 
  • Be a flexible team player, ready to support your colleagues if workload requires a change in your priorities. 
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to generate reports and retrieve relevant information to support customers. 
  • Share your existing educational experience with regard to school organisational structures, pedagogy, teaching and learning best practice, how our products can help, and the power of data insights. 
  • Develop sales referrals from existing customers. 
  • Attend school visits, workshops, exhibitions and conferences and present Renaissance Global’s solutions as and when required. 

Skills and experience required: 

To be considered for the role of International Education Advisor for China and North Asia, we are looking for an experienced teacher looking to move into the EdTech Space, who has experience using Renaissance and GL Education products.  

You will also have: 

  • Experience teaching in an education setting with in China or North Asia 
  • Preferred - Primary or Secondary QTS with 2-5 years teaching experience 
  • Excellent communication skills, via phone, written and verbal skills 
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English is a strong advantage (written and verbal).  
  • Deep understanding of the international/bilingual school landscape in China and North Asia.  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.  
  • Self-starter with a high level of cultural intelligence and sensitivity, who looks for creative solutions to build connections and generate active leads.  
  • Target driven

  • Able to quickly assimilate extensive product and market knowledge  

Additional information: 

This is role is a Hybrid role based out of our Beijing, China office (Renaissance China, Room 1526, 15th Floor, Block A, Parkview Green, No. 9 Dongdaqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing) with the expectation with some travel to other offices as required for team meetings.

We offer a competitive salary of between CNY 144800 -  CNY 199100 dependant on experience, plus excellent commission, Plus lots of amazing benefits.
