Marketing Executive

About this role:
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant known internally as a Marketing Executive to join us at Renaissance. The purpose of this role is to support Renaissance’s marketing efforts among schools predominantly in the UK and Ireland with the aim of generating sales leads and supporting current customers through timely and engaging communications to encourage retention.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be focusing on working to promote Renaissance and its products to enhance our sales strategy, which will include activities such as
Campaign Management (approximately 40% of role)
- Develop, build, manage and analyse email marketing campaigns
- Working with our in-house designer, develop and maintain promotional and support content for prospects and customers (including brochures, flyers and newsletters)
- Monitor and report on lead generation activity
- Track, analyse and report on key marketing statistics (in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and UK Commercial Operations team).
Customer Lifecycle (approximately 40% of role)
- Support the Marketing Manager in the development, maintenance and reporting of our customer lifecycle programme
- Develop automated email programmes to support customer onboarding and subscription renewal
- Liaise with the Product team to develop and execute new product trial campaigns.
General (approximately 20% of role)
- Maintain the email communications schedule
- Manage and maintain the website
- Contribute to monthly reports
- Support lead administration as required
- Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned.
Skills and experience required:
To be considered for the role of Marketing Executive you will be a Marketing professional preferably within the education technology sector and have excellent communication (oral, written and presentational) and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and a high level of responsiveness
You will also have/be:
- Educated to degree level, a marketing or business degree would be desirable
- Practical experience working within a marketing environment
- Good computer skills with a thorough knowledge of programmes such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Database and CRM experience (preferably Salesforce) would be desirable, as would familiarity with content-management website software (such as WordPress) and email sender software (such as Marketo)
- Experience of automated communications programmes would be desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with the education sector would be useful, although not essential.

Additional information:
This is a hybrid-based role working out of our Vantage Head Office 3 Days per week..
We offer a competitive base salary of £31,000 per annum, Plus amazing benefits

- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week– Generally 9.00am to 5:30pm (with an unpaid hour for lunch daily), subject to the demands of the role.
