Position Overview:

This role is responsible for supporting global employees and client HR/Finance teams with payroll and billing-related questions, including payslips, statutory deductions, taxes, FX conversions, employer costs, and invoice discrepancies. The specialist will reconcile gross-to-net payroll reports against client invoices, investigate variances, and partner with Payroll, Billing, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate payments, timely invoicing, and a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve support tickets from global employees regarding payslip line items, statutory deductions, tax withholdings, currency conversions, and pay date discrepancies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client finance and HR teams asking for itemized cost breakdowns, billing reconciliations, or clarifications on localized employer tax contributions.
  • Reconcile gross-to-net payroll reports against client invoice totals to ensure zero revenue leakage and accurate payout processing.
  • Collaborate with Billing, Account Receivables, and Local Payroll operations to resolve billing blocks, payment delays, or invoicing errors swiftly.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • 2–4+ years handling payroll support, billing, or accounts receivable, ideally within an EOR, PEO, or global payroll platform environment.
  • Strong comprehension of gross-to-net pay calculations, foreign exchange invoicing, statutory employer burdens, and international tax deductions.
  • Ability to explain complex tax and billing mechanics in plain language; meticulous attention to numerical detail; strong customer-first mindset.
