What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Payroll & HRIS Lead to join Relm, a global specialty insurer with 100+ employees worldwide, supporting innovative industries such as AI, fintech, digital assets, and biotech.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean, high-impact environment, where you will take full ownership of payroll and HRIS operations across multiple regions.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in U.S. and UK payroll, along with working knowledge or experience managing international payroll across jurisdictions such as the UK, UAE, and Bermuda. You should be confident operating independently, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across all payroll processes.
In addition, you will own HRIS administration and workforce reporting, acting as a key partner to Finance and Leadership by delivering reliable data and insights to support business decisions.
This is a fully remote, Philippines-based role within a globally distributed team, requiring strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to manage complex processes with minimal oversight.
What You Will Do
Global Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for the U.S., UK, UAE, and Bermuda.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, statutory regulations, and reporting requirements in each jurisdiction.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors where applicable.
- Lead payroll reconciliations, audits, and year-end reporting processes.
- Maintain payroll accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes across all supported regions.
HRIS Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the HRIS platform.
- Maintain data integrity and system accuracy across global employee populations.
- Optimize workflows and improve system efficiencies.
- Support reporting automation and system integrations where applicable.
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop advanced payroll and workforce analytics.
- Produce detailed reports on headcount, compensation, benefits, and workforce costs.
- Build executive-ready reporting packages.
- Utilize advanced Excel and data analysis tools to provide actionable insights.
Process & Controls
- Establish and document global payroll processes and SOPs.
- Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
What You Bring To The Table
- 5+ years of payroll management experience.
- Strong hands-on experience managing U.S. payroll (required).
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll in multiple international jurisdictions.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
- Experience with payroll reporting and advanced analytics.
- Experience administering HRIS platforms.
- Ability to work EST hours from the Philippines.
Preferred
- Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working in a global, high-growth organization.
