Location: Westminster (Full Time Contract)

 

Role Overview

The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting Reform UK’s growing team, leading on day-to-day HR operations while contributing strategically to workforce planning, culture, and performance management. You will be the first point of contact for all HR-related matters, ensuring our internal processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the values and goals of the Party.

Based at our Westminster HQ, the ideal candidate will bring a proactive, hands-on approach and thrive in a fast-paced, political environment. You’ll be trusted to manage sensitive matters with discretion, provide expert guidance to managers and staff, and help drive Reform UK’s ambitious growth with a high-performing team culture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to Reform UK HQ and regional staff, acting as the primary point of contact for all people-related matters.

  • Lead the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.

  • Partner with managers across departments to support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.

  • Maintain and oversee accurate employee records, contracts, and administration.

  • Manage the annual leave process, sickness and absence reporting, and employee life-cycle events.

  • Provide support on organisational changes and workforce planning.

  • Oversee the probation, appraisal, and disciplinary processes.

  • Ensure consistent communication with line managers on staff wellbeing, grievances, and dispute resolution.

  • Support internal culture and engagement initiatives. 

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced or political environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations matters.

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
