🙌🏼 What you will be doing
We’re looking for a Head of Finance, Ireland (PCF-11) based in our Dublin office to lead and oversee the financial management, planning, and reporting activities of Ramp Ireland (Swaps) Ltd.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the company meets its financial and regulatory obligations. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee, the Head of Finance Ireland will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Product, to support the company’s strategic and operational objectives.
🧩 What you will be working on
Financial Management and Reporting
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Irish and EU regulatory requirements.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and other stakeholders.
- Assist in revenue reconciliations
Regulatory and Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with all CBI requirements applicable to the PCF-11 function, including regulatory capital adequacy and liquidity management.
- Manage statutory audits, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory reviews.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary financial liaison with the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.
- Partner with internal teams, such as Compliance, Legal, and Product, to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Establish robust financial governance frameworks, ensuring proper segregation of duties, authorisation processes, and financial risk controls.
- Conduct regular assessments of financial processes to identify inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
🤟 What you will bring
The ideal candidate will have extensive financial management experience within a regulated environment and a proven ability to lead in a PCF-11 capacity.
- Experience:
- Experience in finance, accounting, or audit roles within financial services, fintech, or crypto.
- Demonstrated track record of managing financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance at a senior level.
- Education & Certifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA,CAI) is essential; additional certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, including IFRS, CBI guidelines, and capital adequacy requirements.
- Familiarity with virtual asset service provider (VASP) regulations and associated financial considerations.
- Skills:
- Exceptional financial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience engaging with Boards and senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
