As AI reshapes marketing, creativity, and content production, we see a major opportunity to evolve how brand is created, scaled, and governed. The Brand & Marketing Design team plays a key role in defining how AI supports — and strengthens — Raisin’s visual identity and storytelling.
The Brand & Marketing Design team is responsible for shaping the visual identity of Raisin across all channels, from campaigns and performance marketing to internal communications and brand governance. The team ensures consistent expression of the Raisin brand across touchpoints and serves as a critical partner to Marketing, Product, People, and Communications — while driving AI-enabled creative excellence.
Your Responsibilities
As Head of Brand & Marketing Design, you will:
- Lead & Grow the Team: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of brand and marketing designers. Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and AI fluency within the team.
- AI-Enabled Creative Evolution: Integrate AI into brand and marketing workflows — including AI-supported concept development, copy and visual exploration, image and video generation, motion experimentation, and campaign ideation.
- Strategic Brand Leadership: Define and elevate Raisin’s brand identity across digital and physical expressions. Ensure that AI-generated and human-crafted outputs are aligned with brand values and visual standards.
- Art Direction in the Age of AI: Set and own the art direction and visual language for marketing campaigns, employer branding, partnerships, and internal communications — including clear guardrails for AI-assisted creative production.
- From Reactive to Strategic: Transition the team from a reactive support function to a proactive strategic partner in brand governance, campaign strategy, and growth initiatives.
- Creative Governance & Scalability: Establish frameworks and governance for scalable brand production, including AI-driven asset generation, template systems, and automated content workflows.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Ensure creative alignment across departments (Marketing, Comms, People, Product) and collaborate closely with performance and growth teams to connect creativity with measurable impact.
- Measurement & Effectiveness: Embed measurement, storytelling, experimentation, and creative effectiveness into team workflows. Use data and AI-supported insights to continuously improve campaign performance and brand consistency.
- Quality & Craft: Drive quality through design reviews, coaching, and clear processes. Ensure all outputs — whether AI-assisted or traditionally crafted — meet the highest creative standards.
- Brand Stewardship: Act as a brand steward, scaling governance across teams and markets (EU, UK, US), ensuring consistency while enabling localization and speed.
- 8+ years in brand, marketing, or visual design, with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Experience leading creative teams within fast-paced tech, fintech, or agency environments
- Proven ability to set art direction and evolve brand systems in digital-first environments
- Experience integrating or experimenting with AI in creative workflows (e.g., AI image/video generation, generative design tools, AI-supported campaign development)
- Strong understanding of storytelling, campaign creative, and marketing performance
- Ability to balance brand consistency with scalable, AI-enabled content production
- Strong communicator who can influence and align at senior leadership level
- Skilled in creative tooling (Figma, Adobe CC, motion tools; familiarity with AI creative tools is a strong plus)
- Experience working with agencies, in-house teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
