Director, Strategic Business Development

Role Summary
The Director, Strategic Business Development drives external partnerships that expand QuantHealth's footprint in clinical R&D. The role focuses on identification, negotiation, and execution of collaborations that unlock new revenue and data access. Success depends on a deep network across global pharma search & evaluation, in/out licensing, and corporate development teams, paired with the agility to operate inside a high-growth technology company.
Responsibilities
• Map top-50 pharma and leading biotechs to pinpoint programs where QuantHealth’s simulations improve development decisions.
• Source, shape, and close tech and services partnership agreements that help customers with in- and out-licensing and development decisions.
• Maintain senior relationships across clinical, portfolio, and strategy functions; serve as a trusted peer on deal structure and valuation.
• Coordinate internal science, product, and legal teams to build proposals, manage diligence, and drive contracts to signature.
• Gather market intelligence on pipeline priorities, trial design trends, and data-sharing models; translate findings into product and go-to-market inputs.
Required Experience
• 10+ years in search & evaluation, business development, or licensing at global pharma and at least one emerging biotech.
• Record of closing multi-million-dollar collaborations covering clinical assets, real-world data, or AI-enabled R&D platforms.
• Demonstrated network across therapeutic and strategic R&D leaders in oncology, autoimmune, or cardiometabolic portfolios.
• Working knowledge of clinical trial design, statistical modeling, and the key decision gates from pre-clinical to Phase III.
• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, or digital health tools and an aptitude for translating technology into R&D value.
• Evidence of thriving in fast-changing environments (e.g., led a new venture inside big pharma or supported a startup partnership).
