šÆ Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with veterinary practices, clinics, and animal care facilities. Understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Proactively identify and engage with top talent in the veterinary sector through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and social media platforms. Screen candidates to ensure a strong fit for both the client and the candidate.
- Recruitment Cycle Management: Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including job posting, candidate interviews, offer negotiation, and placement. Ensure a smooth experience for both clients and candidates.
- Market Research: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the veterinary industry, including changes in staffing requirements, certifications, and regulations. Proactively advise the team about new trends and act on them.
- Candidate Support: Provide guidance and advice to candidates on their career progression, interview preparation, and market opportunities. Build long-term relationships by offering ongoing support throughout their careers.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the veterinary sector. Pitch recruitment services to potential clients and negotiate contracts.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of candidates, placements, and client interactions within our CRM system. Ensure all compliance and documentation requirements are met.
š Who You Are
- Experience in Recruitment or Sales: Ideally, you will have a background in recruitment, sales, or a customer-facing role, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and meet targets.
- Passion for the Veterinary Industry: A genuine interest in animal care and the veterinary profession will help you understand your clients' and candidates' needs.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, candidates, and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple roles and priorities effectively.
- Proactive & Self-Motivated: A driven, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a business owner mindset.
- Ability to Work Independently & as Part of a Team: Comfortable working autonomously while also collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals.
- Knowledge of Veterinary Qualifications (Preferred): A basic understanding of veterinary roles, qualifications, and industry standards is an advantage, but not a requirement.
