Internship (Fabrication Team)

QphoX is looking for an intern to join us in developing and building our quantum modem. To achieve our mission, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates with scientific skills and resourcefulness.

With access to cutting-edge methodologies and state-of-the-art tools, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology.

You will be involved in:

  • Developing new processes to improve the fabrication workflow of the devices.
  • Investigate new materials and fabrication methods to improve device metrics, yield and reproducibility over time.
  • Taking care of physical, chemical and opto-electrical characterization of the materials and the devices.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience working in the Kavli Nanolab cleanroom in Delft.
  • Good organizational and planning skills to achieve set goals on time
  • Quick to learn new techniques for different tools

We prefer students who are available for an internship of a minimum of 3 months. Experience in or knowledge of quantum physics is not required.

You have a taste for experimentation within a cleanroom. You are motivated and have a sense of your responsibilities and are able to learn new tools and techniques. You would also be excited about the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, scientists, and technicians with a wide range of expertise.
