(Senior) Research Associate
We’re looking for a driven and curious (Senior) Research Associate to join our growing team of glue hunters! In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in advancing some of our most exciting research projects - designing and running wet-lab experiments that push the boundaries of innovation.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the life sciences
- Hands-on laboratory experience is essential, particularly in mammalian cell culture, cloning, and western blotting
- Proficiency with MS Office and a willingness to learn new software tools
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and commitment to teamwork
- Experience with HiBiT assays, immunofluorescent staining, gene transduction, Echo or Janus systems, high-content microscopy, or background in targeted protein degradation is considered a plus
- Two to three years of relevant experience is a plus, but not required
WHAT YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE
- Plan and perform compound validation experiments, with primary focus on cell-based assays (e.g. HiBiT, viability, alphaLISA assays, and immunofluorescent staining) as well as relevant biochemical techniques
- Culture, maintain and engineer mammalian cell lines using a variety of methods, along with execution of cellular assays
- Manage internal compound handling and logistics, and provide support related laboratory workflows
- Maintain clear, detailed, and accurate laboratory documentation in line with internal standards; analyze experimental data and present results in internal meetings
- Develop, refine, and troubleshoot assays, including the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure proper use, routine maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments

The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is EUR 2.461,58 based on a full-time position, which can be adjusted based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
