The Role:
As our ASO Specialist, you will be responsible for building and executing scalable App Store Optimization strategies across iOS and Android for products. You’ll work cross-functionally with SEO, Product, Design, and Growth teams to improve visibility, increase conversion rates, and support user acquisition in new and existing markets.
This role will blend hands-on execution with strategic thinking and is ideal for someone who thrives in a multilingual, multi-market environment. You’ll play a critical role in unifying our organic presence across web and mobile.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive ASO Strategy Globally: Own and optimize ASO efforts across Google Play and Apple App Stores in key and emerging markets.
- Keyword Research & Localization: Conduct keyword research using leading tools and local insights. Work with translators/regional teams to scale metadata localization effectively.
- Creative Asset Optimization: Partner with Design and Product teams to test and optimize store assets (screenshots, app icons, videos, etc.) for conversion across markets.
- Performance Measurement & Experimentation: Define and track KPIs. Design and analyze A/B tests on store creatives and metadata.
- Multimarket Expansion: Identify and prioritize international growth opportunities based on market research, competitive analysis, and store performance data.
- SEO Integration: Collaborate with the SEO team to align landing pages, keyword targeting, and content campaigns with app store strategies for a unified organic acquisition funnel.
- Tooling & Automation: Recommend and implement ASO tools, workflows, and reporting systems to drive operational excellence.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Marketing, SEO, Analytics, and Growth Engineering to integrate ASO with broader acquisition initiatives.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in SEO and how it complements ASO strategies.
- Solid experience in ASO with a strong understanding of both Google Play and Apple App Store ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience scaling ASO efforts in multiple languages/markets.
- Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in app rankings, impressions, and install conversion rates.
- Experience with ASO tools like AppTweak, SensorTower, AppFollow, Mobile Action, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like Looker, Google Analytics, Firebase, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console.
- Experience working with creative teams to optimize app store assets based on market trends and cultural preferences.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English. Additional languages are a plus.
