Purpose of the role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Proton, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential customers. You will be the first point of contact for many of our future customers, building relationships and driving revenue growth for the company.

What you will do

  • Lead Generation & Qualification:
    • Identify and research potential customers through various channels.
    • Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
    • Gather key information about potential customers, including their challenges, pain points, and priorities.
  • Sales Pipeline Development:
    • Schedule and conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and qualify leads.
    • Conduct product demos with prospective customers wherever needed.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Proton's products and services.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
    • Accurately track and report on sales activities and progress in CRM.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Build and nurture relationships with potential customers.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries and address customer concerns.
    • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and methodologies.

Job requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative or similar role.
  • Proven track record of success in lead generation and qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record with SMB to Mid-Sized Sales.
  • Strong phone and email communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in other European languages (e.g., French) is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
