Business Context

 

We are looking for a bold, impact-driven International Brand Marketing Manager to shape our brand presence across key international markets. You will directly manage marketing across the UK, as well as retail marketing in France, Nordics, and the Middle East, and support distributor-led professional marketing across France, Nordics, Middle East, and Australia.

 

This is a newly created role and part of the new team structure that will lead our key international markets.  It’s a highly entrepreneurial opportunity at the forefront of managing how we grow globally. You’ll be responsible for adapting global strategies into locally resonant marketing plans that spark engagement, accelerate performance, and elevate the brand across diverse channels.

 

This is a role for a strategic executor who moves fast, thinks creatively, and leads with purpose. Fluency in both English and French at (Native or C1 Level ) is required, along with a deep understanding of regional nuances across consumer, retail, and professional channels.

 

Responsibilities

International Marketing Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute compelling, data informed marketing strategies to drive significant business growth and K18’s position as a cultural leader in haircare.
  • Manage integrated marketing calendars and activation plans including localizing and implementing global 360 campaigns.
  • Execute across key retail and professional partners, leading trade marketing activation including merchandising, sampling, and in-store activations.
  • Serve as the connective force across the international education, sales, and retail teams, translating strategy into action and ensuring every key market activation is cohesive, impactful, and on-brand.
  • Provide actionable market insights and campaign performance feedback to the global team while collaborating closely to ensure alignment and excellence in execution.

International Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Execute the global brand social media strategy in key international markets while pushing creative boundaries—localizing with market insight and driving innovation within the global framework, overseeing editorial calendars, local content development, and platform-specific initiatives.
  • Drive authentic community engagement, fostering a vibrant two-way conversation between K18 and its highly engaged audience of professionals and consumers.
  • Leverage consumer insights and analytics to optimize social media performance and inform future content strategies.

PR

  • Lead PR execution to drive increased brand exposure across key brand initiatives, including brand campaigns, new launches and events.
  • Manage the relationship with the PR agencies in the UK and France and serving as key support for the other key markets.
  • Balance both consumer and trade press to drive consumer and professional awareness and advocacy.

 Influencer & Artistry Relations

  • Identify, onboard, and cultivate relationships with a diverse range of influencers (from micro to mega), artists, and brand ambassadors, building innovative partnerships.
  • Scale our ambassador program in partnership with the education team to maximize relationships, content creation, traffic, and conversions.
  • Oversee ongoing gifting efforts and manage all aspects of vendor and partner relationships, including talent agencies and production.
  • Measure and report on influencer program performance and KPIs, providing ongoing insights, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for someone with regional expertise and a proven track record in driving growth.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Fluency in both English and French at (Native or C1 Proven with Test Level ) is a must have requirement,
  • 5+ years of experience in international and/or regional marketing roles with a proven track record of driving success
  • Must have proven track record with accumulated expertise of the UK professional stylist/salon and retail markets with knowledge / experience across the other key markets (France, Nordics, Middle East and Australia)
  • Deep expertise in 360 marketing planning and integrated marketing programming, with a strong emphasis on digital and social-first strategies and a clear history of achieving measurable results.
