Beauty Advisor and Training Coordinator – Tatcha EU

Business Context

Tatcha was founded in 2009 by Vicky Tsai who unexpectedly found herself in Kyoto, where she encountered a culture of harmony, beauty, and well-being that healed her from skin to soul. Every Tatcha formula is crafted at the Tatcha Institute in Tokyo, where leading scientists innovate within tradition: balancing timeless Japanese botanicals with proven clinical ingredients to work with skin, not against it.

The Role Description: BA and Training Coordinator (French Speaking, Italian and Spanish a plus) 

We have an exciting opportunity to hire an ambitious, passionate, and driven BA and Training Coordinator for Tatcha EU.

In this role you will be responsible for driving growth across the business through captivating event execution and inspirational education strategy. Focusing on partnering with our key retail partners to plan and execute events, training and education that maximize brand awareness and retail sales. The BA and training coordinator is responsible for ensuring all brand representatives and store partners are educated on Tatcha brand heritage and products, to be our brand advocates in store. The Tatcha – BA and Training Coordinator will act as a key ambassador for Tatcha in the EU and will be an instrumental sales driver to the Paris Champs-Elysées​ Flagship store.

In this role you will work closely with both the brand as well as the regional field sales team and Head of Retail.

Each day at Tatcha is different with new challenges to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is an idea of some of the things you will work on:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute, together with the brand and Head of Retail, the events strategy & calendar to provide immersive brand experiences and bring the products to life at key retailers
  • Develop and execute the training strategy & calendar, leveraging the global educational content and strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with key personnel in all retailer accounts by visiting top doors 3 days a week to ensure brand love & keep brand top of mind.
  • Train in store teams frequently
  • Achieve and exceed key sales targets, as agreed with the brand and Head of Retail.
  • Train and inspire the Tatcha field team to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to drive sell-out in EU doors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing expert guidance and support to the sales teams in converting customer inquiries and concerns into sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the efficacy of Tatcha products through live events and workshops in stores & on social media.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of skincare and beauty / digital trends.
  • Support customer service journey for seem less customer experience.
  • Own development of all educational content including social media & email

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Education and Events role preferably within prestige beauty industry, focused on skincare.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • French Speaking & potential travel in other specified EU countries (other language skills may be a benefit).
  • Proven experience in a sales-focused education role within the skincare or beauty industry, with a track record of driving customer conversion and sales growth.
  • Evidence of growing accounts through education and event activation.
  • Experience delivering educational events and workshops to large groups.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and purpose of channel to support brand education.
  • Confidence in filming and editing content for the brand to be used across social media.
  • Expert knowledge of skin, skincare, benefits, usage & skin-care ingredients
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences both in-person and online.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret customer feedback to continuously improve education initiatives.
  • Passion for the skincare and beauty industry, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitor products.
  • Proactive and results-driven attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to confidently perform events and demos in stores.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a determination to win.
  • Strong interpersonal, numeracy and organisational skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Flexibility required during peak trade and weekends.

Chaque formule Tatcha est développée a l’institut Tatcha à Tokyo, où les meilleurs scientifiques conjuguent innovation et tradition. Ils associent des ingrédients botaniques japonais ancestraux à des actifs cliniquement prouvés, pour créer des soins qui respectent la peau et subliment la nature.

Description du Poste : Conseiller(ère) Beauté et Coordinateur(trice) Formation (Français courant, Italien et Espagnol appréciés)

. Nous recherchons un(e) Conseiller(ère) Beauté et Coordinateur(trice) Formation ambitieux(se), passionné(e) et motivé(e) pour  rejoindre notre équipe au sein de Tatcha EU.

Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de la croissance de l’activité à travers l’exécution d’événements captivants et d’une stratégie de formation inspirante. Vous collaborerez avec nos partenaires retail clés pour planifier et exécuter des événements, des formations et des actions éducatives visant à maximiser la notoriété de la marque et des ventes. Le/la Coordinateur(trice) Formation est chargé(e) de s’assurer que tous les représentants de la marque et les partenaires en magasin sont formés à l’héritage et aux produits Tatcha, afin qu’ils deviennent de véritables ambassadeurs de la marque. Ce poste jouera un rôle clé dans le développement des ventes du flagship store des Champs-Élysées.

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec la marque, l’équipe terrain régionale et le/la Responsable Retail.

Chaque jour chez Tatcha est différent, avec de nouveaux défis à relever. Voici un aperçu des missions principales:

Responsabilités principales:

  • Développer et exécuter, en collaboration avec la marque et le/la Responsable Retail, la stratégie et le calendrier des événements pour offrir des expériences immersives et donner vie aux produits chez les principaux distributeurs.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre la stratégie et le calendrier de formation, en s’appuyant sur les contenus et la stratégie éducative globale.
  • Établir des relations solides avec les équipes clés des distributeurs en visitant les points de vente stratégiques 3 jours par semaine pour renforcer l’attachement à la marque.
  • Former régulièrement les équipes en magasin.
  • Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente fixés avec la marque et le/la Responsable Retail.
  • Former et motiver l’équipe terrain Tatcha pour qu’elle dispose des connaissances et outils nécessaires pour générer des ventes dans les points de vente européens.
  • Agir en tant qu’expert(e) de la marque, en apportant conseils et soutien aux équipes de vente pour transformer les demandes clients en opportunités commerciales.
  • Démontrer l’efficacité des produits Tatcha lors d’événements en magasin et d’ateliers, y compris sur les réseaux sociaux.
  • Maintenir une connaissance approfondie des tendances en matière de soins de la peau, de beauté et du digital.
  • Soutenir le parcours client pour garantir une expérience fluide.
  • Être responsable du développement de tous les contenus éducatifs, y compris pour les réseaux sociaux et les emails.
