Location: Warehouse – Blackburn or London

Unilever has built a new division in its Beauty & Personal Care sector - Unilever Prestige. Unilever Prestige focuses on premium luxury brands in a fast-growing segment. Within the UK we operate a Prestige Hub, which functions as the Group Headquarters of REN Clean Skincare and as the UK offices of the other Prestige entities, based in Southwark, London. We are: REN Clean Skincare, Murad Skincare, Living Proof Haircare, TATCHA Skincare and Kate Somerville Skincare.
Skills and qualifications:
- Cosmetics experience desirable
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operational environment
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Problem solving in an operational environment
- Proven relationship skills
- Process driven
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
In this role you will be supporting the Supply Chain function with a focus on logistics, inventory and analysis to help drive efficiency and improvements. You’ll also be involved in a variety of projects across Supply Chain including ERP Optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Logistics
- Work with suppliers, freight forwarders and couriers to co-ordinate outbound logistics for all our brands.
- Work with our 3PL to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement implementation.
- Record and track outgoing shipments and follow up with freight companies regularly to ensure timely delivery.
- Assisting with queries and resolving issues with export orders, including customs documentation.
- Help to facilitate necessary changes to logistics processes caused by any industry/regulatory changes or forthcoming trade agreements.
Inventory
- Corrective actions / process improvement related to sales orders/returns.
- Complete regular system sync between ERP and WMS (3PL run) including investigation and adjustments where required to keep the systems aligned.
- Report on inventory discrepancies, and develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Assist as necessary in overseeing product compliance activities such as labelling of stock.
General
- Assist in data and information gathering to support KPI reviews, including warehouse and outbound carrier logistics performance and warehouse cost monitoring.
- Identify and implement process improvements internally and with our partners across the end-to-end supply chain
- Assisting finance and wider supply chain with month end activities and reporting- Finance queries reporting
- Aid Supply Chain leadership team with Process Improvement, Project Work, Master Data, and General Problem Solving as and when required
- Assist with maintaining supply chain data integrity within ERP system
- Plastic and Packaging waste reporting (EPR) and staying abreast of changes to packaging waste legislation.
