Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other teams to understand their requirements and ensure that the bac kend services meet their needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS to ensure scalable and efficient operations.
• Create and optimise database systems, both relational and non-relational, ensuring dat a integrity and performance.
• Work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka for seamless inter-service communication.
• Utilise containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to enhance development and deployment processes.
• Follow best practices and maintain high standards of code quality, reliability, and security.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and participate in code reviews.

The Candidate we are looking for:

• Strong experience in building and deploying microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Deep understanding of database systems, including experience with database design and optimization. 
• Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team .
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the EV charging industry is a plus but not required.
