About Us

Our ambition is to be the most successful insurance disruptor that customers want to stay with for life. Our goal is to build deeper relationships with our customers, transforming insurance from a costly necessity to a valued support system.

In 2023, we were honoured with an Outstanding 2-star accreditation ââ and ranked among the Top 100 Best Large Companies to Work for by Best Companies.

The role: Make fairness happen where it matters most

We’re looking for an Employee Relations Coordinator to join our People Experience team (HR), supporting our Employee Relations Manager across two fast-paced call centre environments, on a 12 month contract.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their People Experience/HR career who wants to build real depth in employee relations. You’ll be right at the centre of how we manage workplace issues fairly, consistently, and professionally, making sure nothing slips through the cracks and every case is handled with care and clarity.

If you’re organised, calm under pressure, and genuinely interested in how people process work in real life (not just in theory), this is your kind of role.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be the backbone of our ER casework, helping keep everything structured, accurate, and moving.

  • Supporting employee relations cases across disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and conduct
  • Coordinating meetings, hearings, and investigations across two sites
  • Taking clear, accurate notes and producing formal documentation
  • Preparing case files, timelines, and supporting evidence packs
  • Tracking case progress and ensuring actions are followed through
  • Maintaining confidential HR records and case systems
  • Supporting managers with process guidance and coordination
  • Helping identify patterns and trends in ER activity

What we’re looking for: We care more about mindset than perfection.

  • Some experience in People Experience/HR (HR exposure ideal)
  • Interest in employee relations and workplace fairness
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Confident communication, especially in writing
  • Calm, steady approach when dealing with sensitive situations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards), ideally through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

Why this role works

You’ll learn ER properly. Not just admin tasks, but how cases are built, decisions are made, and fairness is maintained in a busy operational business.

You’ll be supported by an experienced ER Manager and surrounded by a People Experience team that values doing things properly, not just quickly.
