As a Supply Relationship Manager at Policy Expert, you’ll be stepping into a pivotal role that combines strategic thinking with operational execution. As we scale our business and supplier needs evolve, this is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of our supplier relationship strategy and drive tangible business value.

This role is more than just procurement support. You will lead the relationship management of our critical external suppliers, ensuring contracts, performance, and strategic alignment are all optimised for mutual success. From managing contract renewals and overseeing supplier reviews to driving continuous improvement and innovation, you’ll be at the centre of how we partner for success.

You will act as the key link between Policy Expert and our external partners, including technology vendors, service providers, and professional services. You’ll work closely with the wider business to ensure supplier partnerships support our strategic goals, deliver cost efficiencies, and reflect our values including ESG and risk management standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage key supplier relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and strategic liaison.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, supplier performance tracking, and contract management activities.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure supplier agreements meet operational needs and strategic objectives.
  • Identify, initiate, and lead change and innovation initiatives across supplier categories.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including contract renewals and changes in commercial terms (e.g. cost, SLAs, terms).
  • Monitor and analyse supplier performance metrics, producing reports and insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve supplier governance processes and support the development of a long-term supplier strategy.

Who are you:

You’re a commercially savvy, relationship-oriented professional who thrives on making things happen. Whether you're managing complex negotiations or influencing business decisions, your ability to engage, collaborate and deliver is second to none. You bring a forward-thinking approach and love the idea of shaping how supplier relationships work within a fast-growing, innovative business.

  • Category Strategy & Ownership – You’ve led supplier strategies across areas such as Financial Services, managing significant spend and influencing how the business engages with its partners.
  • Supplier Management – You have hands-on experience with performance-driven supplier management and understand how to leverage supplier partnerships for innovation and improvement.
  • Contract Management – You’re comfortable navigating and managing contracts, from negotiation through to renewal and performance enforcement.
  • Procurement & Risk Knowledge – You understand procurement processes, contractual terms, and how to mitigate risk while balancing commercial outcomes.
  • Experience in Financial Services – Ideally, you've worked in or with regulated environments and understand the need to align supplier practices with compliance and risk standards.
  • Communication & Influence – You can communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, presenting insights clearly and confidently, and leading productive conversations that align supplier activities with business goals.
