About Delivery at Policy Expert

The Delivery function is critical to ensuring ambitious product delivery is successful by guiding technology change from ideation to implementation on a platform built by us. The business is scaling across the board, and the team needs another delivery specialist to join and support us on that growth journey.

The role and what you’ll be doing  

As a Delivery Manager, you’ll be experienced in agile delivery, know when to challenge and when to listen, you’re always proactive and an excellent problem spotter and resolver. You’ll lead the delivery of our one or several of our product streams of work

You’ll be responsible for

  • Collaborating closely with Product Heads ensuring alignment with executive and strategic objectives
  • Delivering product roadmaps and well understood success criteria aligned to business delivery needs via high-performing cross-functional teams
  • Using data driven insights to inform inspect and adapt principles and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Agreeing responsibilities, tasks and expectations with the team so everyone is clear on their role and contribution
  • Communicating with stakeholders about the work and progress of the team, including escalating blockers and risks and managing dependencies
  • Visualising the work of the team to forecast, track and ensure sustainable progress
  • Championing MVP and incremental based Agile practices
  • Supporting and challenging individuals and the team to achieve

What we are looking for

  • Someone who can foster open, trusting relationships and constructively feedback and influence positively
  • A more strategic thinker with solid organisational skills, able to proactively manage risks, dependencies, and outcomes, maintaining alignment with broader business strategies and priorities
  • Adept at managing delivery in agile and cross-functional environments, skilled at providing structure and appropriate governance to execution
  • A highly effective communicator to all stakeholder levels, both technical and non-technical
  • Examples of interesting and challenging experience leading deliveries throughout the lifecycle and an approach that brings clarity and simplicity to ambiguity
  • Complete understanding of continuous Agile delivery with a track record of team improvement through emergent and leading practices
  • Really strong people and change management knowledge to help mentor, shape and grow a highly productive, dynamic and technically proficient team
  • Someone who can integrate with a delivery group that is open to learn, evolve and enable personal and collective development
