Assortment Product Owner

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an Assortment Product Owner, based in our Vilnius office. You will join our growing Marketing team.
Your mission: ensure that Pineca’s product strategy is consistently focused on clear business value and customer impact.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Pineca’s product development backlog: gather needs from marketing, sales, and product engineering, and proactively monitor the market and competitors yourself.
- Identify and prioritize product development initiatives that deliver the highest business value in the shortest time.
- Ensure backlog execution from idea and validation through scoping, online launch, and subsequent iterations.
- Monitor existing product assortment performance across the full funnel: from traffic/visits to conversion and orders.
- Analyze where products struggle in the funnel, propose fixes, or decide to remove products from the assortment.
- Actively track the competitive environment, market changes, and industry trends, and recommend strategic directions for Pineca.
- Contribute to product shaping and customer-facing positioning, clarifying the unique value proposition (UVP).
- Work closely with the marketing team and a dedicated product implementation team in product engineering.
- Make decisions based on data, business logic, and clear prioritization.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience in product management, product owner, e‑commerce, digital product, merchandising, category management, or similar roles.
- Ability to manage a backlog/roadmap and clearly prioritize work by business value.
- Strong analytical skills: able to read data, understand the funnel, and make fact-based decisions.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders: marketing, sales, and architects teams.
- Good understanding of the market and competitive environment.
- Ability to critically evaluate situations and make decisions about what to develop, optimize, or discontinue.
- Disciplined, structured work style and strong ownership.
- Plus: experience in e‑commerce, retail, assortment/category performance.
