Remote in Europe

Hi, we’re Phiture — the mobile growth consultancy working with the teams behind leading apps like Adobe, Headspace, and LEGO® 👋. We’re on a mission to become the #1 company in our industry, and we need great people to make it happen.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Join Phiture’s CRM & Retention team as a Senior Growth Consultant, where you’ll lead high-impact CRM and lifecycle marketing programs for top-tier mobile apps. You'll be responsible for advanced audits and campaign strategies that push the boundaries of personalization, automation, and tooling. This role combines strategic thinking with deep technical expertise to unlock the potential of CRM infrastructure and deliver measurable results. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to implement scalable lifecycle systems, leveraging your technical and analytical expertise to drive retention, engagement, and monetization across apps and verticals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead CRM Audits & Technical Infrastructure Reviews: Conduct advanced audits of CRM setups, including evaluation of user taxonomy, event structure, API integrations, custom attributes, and webhook flows to ensure accurate data flows and scalable architecture.
  • Maximize CRM Tool Capabilities: Deeply explore the potential of platforms like Braze, MoEngage, or Iterable to unlock advanced personalization and automation capabilities using custom events, real-time triggers, and dynamic content logic (e.g., Liquid).
  • Design and Execute Lifecycle Strategies: Own the planning and execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategies across channels (email, push, in-app, SMS, WhatsApp), aligned to user journeys and growth goals.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with client development and data teams to validate event instrumentation and user segmentation logic, ensuring the right data is available to support targeted and personalised experiences.
  • Personalization at Scale: Leverage segmentation frameworks, data-driven journeys, and contextual content to build deeply personalized and dynamic campaigns.
  • Drive Experimentation: Design and implement robust A/B and multivariate tests across channels, leveraging behavioral, demographic, and intent data to optimize lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Coach and Lead: Mentor Growth Managers and Marketing Consultants, guiding their technical development and strategic thinking.
  • Translate Insights into Action: Analyse retention and engagement KPIs, funnel performance, and cohort behaviours using platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Looker, and translate the findings into optimisation plans.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Collaborate with clients to troubleshoot and validate CRM workflows, APIs, webhooks, and marketing data pipelines.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation for mobile apps or digital products.
  • Strong experience with CRM tools (e.g., Braze, MoEngage, Iterable) including API usage, Liquid logic, webhook setups, and managing custom events/attributes.
  • Comfortable performing technical audits and working with product/data teams to validate and evolve user taxonomy, tracking plans, and event schemas.
  • Strong data literacy: able to query and interpret data, create dashboards, and derive actionable insights from tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Deep understanding of mobile app retention and engagement mechanics, including behavioral triggers, cohort segmentation, and in-app monetization models.
  • Proficient with HTML for messaging templates and troubleshooting cross-device layout issues.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and executional detail.
  • Excellent client communication skills and confidence leading client workshops, meetings, and audits.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to mobile-specific use cases such as freemium/subscription models, churn prediction, or feature-led engagement.
  • Familiarity with experimentation design and testing platforms.
  • Experience working in agile squads or cross-functional pods.
  • Experience with ASO and performance marketing.
