Position Overview: Pharmbills is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Healthcare Claims Researcher to manage and resolve unpaid claims for U.S.-based healthcare facilities. In this role, you’ll dive into complex, unpaid insurance claims, researching effective solutions and working with clients to help secure overdue payments. This position requires innovative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking to close old claims and drive financial outcomes. The role aligns with the New York time zone to ensure efficient communication with U.S.-based teams. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Investigate unpaid insurance claims and uncover the reasons for non-payment, providing detailed analysis to clients. 
  • Propose and implement creative solutions for resolving outstanding claims, exploring various strategies to maximize payments. 
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and clients to facilitate timely payment processing. 
  • Maintain organized records of all claims, research findings, and payment resolutions. 
  • Generate regular reports on outstanding claims and provide insights for improving claims recovery processes. 
  • Stay updated on healthcare industry regulations and insurance protocols to ensure compliance and effectiveness in claims management. 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, solution-oriented approach. 
  • Excellent analytical and research abilities, with an eye for detail. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting. 
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently, working independently in a remote setting. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare claims, billing processes, or accounts receivable is an advantage. 
  • Flexibility to work according to the New York time zone.
