Location: Bogota, Colombia – Office-based, aligned with the New York time zone

About the Role:

As a Claims Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that healthcare claims are accurately submitted, processed, and resolved. You’ll be at the forefront of claims communication, handling inquiries from U.S. healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients, ensuring smooth processing and proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Management: Review, submit, and manage healthcare claims to insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Issue Resolution: Work directly with healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and patients to address and resolve claims-related inquiries.
  • Follow-Up: Track claim statuses, initiate follow-ups as necessary, and facilitate any required adjustments.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims and follow established processes for handling sensitive information.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify and implement strategies to improve claims management processes, enhancing service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (B2+ level) for effective communication with U.S.-based clients.
  • Experience in healthcare claims, billing, or account management is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask and handle high volumes of information with attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot, think critically, and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Professional and clear communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work within the New York time zone schedule.
