FP&A Lead/Manager

Role Overview:

This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up and can quickly embed into a scaling business.

You will play a key role in shaping financial planning, improving processes through automation, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders across multiple geographies
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Challenge assumptions and influence key business decisions with data-driven analysis

 

Financial Planning & Modelling

  • Own and maintain the company’s 5-year financial model, including fully integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • Continuously refine and upgrade the model to reflect evolving business needs and complexity
  • Support scenario planning and long-term strategic initiatives

 

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process across all regions
  • Own and deliver rolling quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business performance and strategic goals
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure accuracy and accountability

 

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Lead the build out of board and executive level presentations that communicate strategic narratives effectively
  • Develop, analyze, and monitor KPIs across the business to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision making
  • Deliver clear, insightful reporting packs for leadership and investors
  • Analyze variances and provide commentary on financial and operational performance

 

Consolidation & Financial Processes

  • Support group-level consolidations across international entities
  • Help standardize and improve financial processes across regions
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial information

 

Systems Ownership

  • Own and manage the company’s FP&A and reporting systems, including Vena, Power BI, and supporting data infrastructure
  • Maintain and enhance models, templates, reporting structures, and data flows across systems
  • Drive system optimization, automation, and best practice usage across the business
  • Act as the key point of contact for system improvements, troubleshooting, and user support
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and data teams to support data lake integration, reporting capabilities, and scalable system development in line with business growth

 

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve financial processes
  • Drive efficiency and scalability within the FP&A function
  • Partner with systems teams to enhance tools and reporting capabilities

 

Risk & Opportunity Management

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively
  • Support mitigation strategies and highlight areas for value creation

 

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience in FP&A, ideally within a high-growth or scaling environment
  • Strong financial modelling skills (integrated 3-statement models)

 

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in multi-entity / international businesses preferred
  • Experience with FP&A systems (ideally Vena or similar) is highly desirable
  • Background in MedTech, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus but not essential

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to “get stuck in”
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) preferred
