Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager will play an impactful role in driving Permira’s marketing strategy firmwide across all sectors (Technology, Consumer, Healthcare, Services) and business functions (e.g., Capital Formation, Foundation, Events, Human Resources). This role will act as a key partner in executing projects aligned with the firm’s business and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project management and execution of marketing strategies, including: collateral, content development, approvals, scheduling, and results reporting
  • Provide brand alignment guidance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate across global teams and align with the communications team for cohesive messaging
  • Manage day-to-day agency workflows (design, social media, video)
  • Identify and implement AI tools to streamline content production, campaign analysis, and workflow automationLead cost-effective video production aligned with firm priorities
  • Drive thought leadership programme with strong written skills and editorial ideation
  • Track and report on marketing metrics and KPIs to drive data-informed decisions
  • Manage ongoing website and digital property reviews to maintain best standards for user experience and strategy
  • Manage social media content pipeline and paid campaign development with agency co-ordination
  • Support ad hoc marketing administration tasks (e.g., headshots, branded goods, internal materials)

Desired Experience/Background:

  • Ideally +5–7 years’ marketing experience in financial services or investment sectors (e.g., private equity, asset management) or marketing agency
  • Experience working with creative agencies and managing projects
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing workflows and content development (e.g., generative AI, automation tools)
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Content Management System), with the ability to support content creation, basic design, and website management.

  • We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, who can work as part of a close team and across different geographies
  • The successful candidate should be professional, demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills, have strong organisational and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and develop a career within the marketing function of a leading global private equity firm
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a strong interest in learning and applying AI-enabled tools
  • The candidate must also have a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and tackling unfamiliar issues, as well as an ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
