Overview:
As an intern in the HR Reward function, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in reward activities within a global private equity firm. This one-year internship will provide you with exposure to compensation, benefits, benchmarking, reward governance and data analysis, supporting the day-to-day execution of the Reward agenda across Permira’s global footprint.
Key Responsabilitites:
- Reward Data & Analysis: Support the preparation, analysis and maintenance of compensation and benefits data across regions. Assist with benchmarking exercises, including data submission, validation and analysis of market survey results.
- Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate during key annual processes such as year-end compensation reviews, budget compensation projections and provide insights to support decision-making. Provide analytical and administrative support for benefits renewals, reviews and ad hoc benefits-related queries. Support documentation and governance processes related to reward policies and frameworks.
- Reporting & Presentation: Contribute to the preparation of internal reward reports and presentation materials for senior stakeholders. Help translate data into clear insights and summaries presenting key findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Process Improvement & Projects: Support ongoing Reward projects aligned with the function’s strategic priorities, including process improvements, data standardisation and reporting enhancements. Assist with ad hoc analysis and project work as required taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across HR, Finance, Fund Operations, Tax and Legal to gather information and support reward-related activities. Interact with external advisors and consultants where appropriate.
Skills and characteristics:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an interest in data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in Reward, compensation and benefits topics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on implementing innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, global team environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in reward, private equity, or related fields is a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
- Eligibility to sign a 1 year internship under a Spanish Convenio, subject to meeting the required criteria.
- Valid work permit in Spain for the entire duration of the internship.
